Farnaz Moradi received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering in 2010 and the M.S degree in Computer networks design in 2014, from Iran University of Science and Technology.
Her thesis work was about evaluating QoS Parameters of VANET-based healthcare systems. The research looked at the use of a relatively new methodology for improving quality of service and channel utilization in VANET-based healthcare systems and developed the idea of having loss less data transmission through vehicular ad hoc networks from patient mobile to doctor mobile or hospital database.
She is currently a PhD student at Lund University working in Mobile and Pervasive Computing Institute (MAPCI) with the CONVINCE project. She is currently working on energy efficiency of video processing i.e encoding and decoding, in mobile networks. Her research interests also includes vehicular networks etc.
