Dr. Vangelis Angelakis, visiting scholar from Linköping University.
Vangelis holds a Docent from Linköping University and a PhD in from the University of Crete, Greece. He joined the Mobile Telecommunications group of the Department of Science and Technology at Linköping University in 2009 where he is now an Associate Professor.
He has held postoctoral/guest researcher positions in the past in FORTH, Greece, in the University of Maryland, USA, the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. His research interests revolve around performance engineering and management of mobile and heterogeneous wireless networks, and IoT enablers with applications in Smart Cities. He has received funding from the EU and national funding bodies in Greece and Sweden.
