Dr. Bastani received his Ph.D. in computer science from University of Sydney, NSW, Australia in 2014. Currently, he is a postdoctoral researcher in the department of Electrical and Information Technology (EIT) and MAPCI at Lund University, .
His research interests include self-organized wireless networks, vehicular communication technologies and applications, and optimal content management. His current research focus is on cooperative medium access mechanisms for high efficiency wireless networking. He received scholarships from University of Sydney and National ICT Australia (NICTA), where he conducted hisPhD research.
